Organiser: Wings for Life World Run
The Wings for Life World Run arrives in Pinnaroo, SA, on Sunday, 10 May 2026, featuring a unique app-based virtual race against the Catcher Car. Unlike traditional races, there is no finish line; instead, participants run, walk, or roll as far as possible while staying ahead of the virtual Catcher Car that starts 30 minutes after the race begins at 8:30 PM.
Beginning at 16-19 Railway Terrace South, Pinnaroo, the course follows local streets and sidewalks. The Catcher Car starts at a speed of 14 km/h and gradually increases until all participants are caught. Runners can connect with friends, use the Wings for Life World Run app to track their progress, and compete alongside others worldwide in this global event.
All entry fees and donations directly support spinal cord research, with 100% of funds channeled to vital projects aimed at finding a cure.
