Organiser: Maximum Adventure
The Jabulani Challenge is a premier trail running event set in the breathtaking Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, located just north of Sydney. Taking place on Saturday, 11 April 2026, participants can choose from three distances: 45km, 22km, and 12km.
This predominantly single-track course offers a diverse and challenging experience, featuring waterside paths, lush rainforest, native bushland, steep hill climbs, and scenic creek crossings. Runners will explore some of the park’s hidden waterways near Pittwater, a stunning natural area that feels far removed from the city despite being only 30 minutes from Sydney’s centre.
The Jabulani Challenge is also a charitable event, raising funds for the Stellenbosch Community Development Programme (SCDP), a local South African charity supporting the Kyamandi school in Stellenbosch.
The race starts and finishes at Bobbin Head, a picturesque location on the edge of Pittwater, perfect for participants and families to enjoy a day in nature.
