Join us for the 2nd annual Mansfield Marathon. It’s fast, flat and scenic running on the Great Victorian Rail Trail.
Family fun & fitness time
With 5 distances to choose from this is a great way to get the whole family active. While you’re visiting Mansfield be sure to checkout the many other attractions on offer.
Mansfield Marathon
This is a great marathon course, not too hilly, not too hard on the body, simple yet scenic and fast.
Starting near the head of the Great Victorian Rail Trail in Mansfield at Withers Lane, you head 10.55kms towards Bonnie Doon, turning just before the Midland Link Hwy. The course is out and back twice, the first lap will be with the Half Marathoners.
The start time of 8am is not too early that it’s rude but gives you plenty of time to get the job done in time for brunch or maybe lunch.
Mansfield Half Marathon
Just like the marathon course, the Half marathon is fast and relatively flat whilst scenic if you have time to look around.
Mansfield 10km
The 10km is fast and relatively flat, it’s actually a good course to run a personal best.
Starting near the head of the Great Victorian Rail Trail in Mansfield at Withers Lane, you head out 5kms, turn around and run back to where you started.
Mansfield 5km
It’s a fun and fast 5k course, a little test for the young superstars of the future but also great for anyone who missed Parkrun yesterday!
Starting near the head of the Great Victorian Rail Trail in Mansfield at Withers Lane, you head 2.5kms and turn around and run back to finish where you started.
The start time of 8:20am is a sleep in for most, give it a go and start your Marathon campaign!
There are no road crossings so this is super safe and a great opportunity for a PB.
This is a great goal event to get your fitness on track, we look forwards to seeing you run.
2km Junior Dash
The 2km Junior Dash is for Primary aged children aged 5-11yrs old.
There will be age group categories U6, U8, U10 and U12 with age taken from race day.
Each participant will receive a finishers medal as they cross the line.
Parents or guardians may accompany children aged U8 e.g. 5-7yrs old if they want.
The start and finish is the same as all events at Withers Lane, the turn around point 1km out and return back to where you started.
Finishing positions will be published in results with everyone else but the focus is on participation.
