River Run Geelong returns to Barwon Valley Park, Belmont, on Sunday, 1 March 2026, featuring a 10km run and a 5km run/walk.
The event welcomes participants of all abilities—from walkers to elite runners—with a flat, fast, and pram-friendly course that follows the scenic Barwon River path system. The 10km run begins at 8:00am (limited to 950 runners), and the 5km run/walk starts at 8:10am (limited to 550 participants), with a total field limit of 1,500.
Runners will enjoy multiple drink stations and first aid support along the route, and every finisher receives a commemorative medal. River Run Geelong fosters a friendly, community-focused atmosphere and supports the River’s Gift charity, dedicated to preventing Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
