Smurf's Backyard Ultra

Description
Smurf's Backyard Ultra, taking place on 25 October 2025 in Smithfield, Cairns, Far North Queensland, is a challenging last-person-standing endurance race set amidst the tropical landscape of Cairns.
Participants will run a loop of 6.7 km on the renowned Smithfield Mountain Bike Trails, starting each lap exactly on the hour and repeating every hour until only one runner remains able to continue.
In addition to the main event, there is a Mini Backyard option allowing runners to complete up to 6 laps for those seeking a shorter challenge.

Full BYU: 1 x 6.7K per hour - Last one standing format
Mini BYU: 1 x 6.7K per hour - up to 6 laps
