Tasmania's Gone Nuts 101 Adventure Race takes place on Saturday, 28 February 2026, starting from the iconic landmark, The Nut in Stanley, located in Tasmania's North West.
This challenging race follows a stunning coastal route, ascending through Rocky Cape National Park and traversing rugged coastal bushland and serene temperate rainforest. The course concludes in Wynyard after an exhilarating circuit around another volcanic monolith, Table Cape.
The event offers multiple race distances to suit all endurance levels:
- 101 km – individual or team relay (2 to 4 members), completing all four legs
- 75 km – individual only
- 50 km – individual or team relay (2 members), covering legs 3 and 4
- 25 km – individual only, completing the final leg
Participants will experience diverse landscapes, from rolling green farmland dropping into the pristine Bass Strait to unique beaches ranging from long white sands to crescent bays and rugged volcanic formations. The race promises breathtaking scenery, abundant native wildlife, and an unforgettable adventure through one of Tasmania’s most spectacular coastal regions.
