About this event
Join the Tweed Coast Pedal for Prostates—a relaxed 66km charity bike ride through the stunning Tweed Coast landscapes, starting at Philip Street Reserve in Pottsville, Australia.
Experience the Northern Rivers region's extraordinary diversity: pristine beaches, tranquil waterways, rolling countryside, and the award-winning 25km Northern Rivers Rail Trail. This isn't a race—take your time to enjoy cafes, historic pubs, art galleries, and artisan producers along the route.
Pedal for a purpose: Every kilometer supports vital prostate cancer research. Prostate cancer is Australia's most common cancer in men, with 1 in 5 at lifetime risk and 26,000 new cases diagnosed in 2024. Regular PSA (prostate-specific antigen) blood tests save lives—just like checking the PSI in your tires.
Organized by the Cabarita Beach and Pottsville Beach Lions Clubs, all proceeds benefit the Lions Prostate Cancer Research & Treatment Project and Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. Bring or hire a bike, grab an event T-shirt for venue discounts, and enjoy free water and snacks at two rest stops. Safety first: Helmets required, no children under 12, ride carefully on shared paths and roads.
