Unbreakable
Event location
Description
Organiser: TrailsPlus
The **Unbreakable Mountain Trail Run**, inspired by the legendary Barkley Marathons, challenges elite runners in the rugged Marysville region, Victoria, Australia, on Sun, Apr 19, 2026.
Participants must conquer 5 laps of approximately 30-50 km each in remote, often off-trail mountainous terrain—unaided by GPS, phones, or markers, relying solely on a map and compass.
Each lap demands locating and tearing specific pages from 10-20 hidden books matching your bib number, proving your navigation and endurance before advancing. Strict 8-12 hour cutoffs per lap test physical and mental limits; only the toughest may complete all five.
Distances:
Multiple loops of approximately 30K to 50K each
