Bird Identification Walk - Anstead Bushland Reserve
Contact Details
Description
Organiser: Pullen Pullen Catchments Group
Friends of Anstead Bushland invite you to a Bird Walk led by ecologist and avid birder, Deborah Metters.
Deborah Metters is an ecologist and avid birder who runs bird identification workshops and regular bird surveys. She welcomes the opportunity to introduce people to the world of birds so that together we can all learn more about their calls, ecology and conservation efforts. As a self-employed consultant, her main day job is coordinating the Land for Wildlife program in south-east Qld, where she works with 13 Local Governments to help support conservation activities with landholders on their properties.
This is a free event.
Location Details:
The meeting place for the Bird Walk is at the main entrance to Anstead Bushland Reserve in Hawkesbury Road Anstead, just a short distance from the intersection of Hawkesbury and Mount Crosby Roads (UBD 195 N4). While there is no street number for the Reserve, the entrance is opposite The Reserve Café at 645 Hawkesbury Road Anstead.
Light refreshments will provided after the event.
