The Max Adventure Race Series in the Blue Mountains, NSW, on Saturday, 11 October 2025, offers an exciting introduction to the dynamic sport of adventure racing.
Teams of two will compete in fast-paced, non-stop races that combine three core disciplines—mountain biking, trail running, and kayaking—requiring participants to switch between them multiple times. The event duration ranges from two to six hours, providing continuous physical and mental challenges. Teams must remain together throughout the race.
Basic navigation skills are necessary, but if you can read a street directory, you will be able to navigate the course. All checkpoints are accessible via established tracks and paths, though occasionally cross-country travel may be the faster option.

Novice course:
5 to 15K of mountain biking
+ 3 to 5K of trail running
+ 1 to 2K of kayaking
