The Rugged Race, held on Saturday, 29 November 2025 in Nugent, Tasmania, is the premier obstacle mud run and adventure challenge in the region.

Participants will tackle a rugged 6.5 km course featuring over 45 thrilling obstacles, including waterslides, rope climbs, balance beams, A-frame walls, and muddy army crawls. The race offers both competitive and fun waves, welcoming all skill levels aged 13 and above.

For younger adventurers, there is a 3.5 km Junior Wave designed for kids aged 8 and older, providing an exciting and age-appropriate challenge.

The event rewards top finishers with medals, trophies, and ultimate bragging rights, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in both Men’s and Women’s divisions. Completion of all obstacles or penalty burpees is required for official placement.

Whether you're aiming for the podium or just looking for an unforgettable experience, The Rugged Race offers a unique opportunity to test your limits in Tasmania’s toughest mud run.
