Join the 5K SCADaddle for Research in Hobart on Sunday, 26 October 2025, a 5-kilometre run and walk at the picturesque Cornelian Bay to raise awareness and vital funds for research into SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection).

Enjoy a refreshing morning outdoors with family and friends as you walk, jog, or run along the scenic route, supporting efforts to solve the mystery behind this rare and serious heart condition.

SCAD is a spontaneous tear in a coronary artery that can cause heart attacks or sudden death, often affecting individuals without traditional heart disease risk factors. The condition predominantly impacts women, with 80% of cases occurring in females, and the average age of those affected is just 42.
