The Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport Running Festival returns on Sunday, 3 May 2026, bringing a vibrant celebration of running to Toowoomba, Queensland. This event marks an exciting evolution from the traditional marathon into a diverse festival featuring distances for all ages and abilities, including a Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, and 1 mile races.

Newly designed courses will highlight Toowoomba’s historic landmarks, artistic streetscapes, and lush parks and gardens, offering participants a unique way to experience the city’s scenic autumn beauty before the onset of winter.

The festival’s Race Precinct is located at Clive Berghofer Stadium (Toowoomba Sports Ground), situated on the eastern edge of the Toowoomba CBD. All races conclude on the stadium’s iconic turf, allowing runners to finish in front of cheering family and friends seated in the grandstand.

Organised by Events Management Queensland, the festival is supported by the Toowoomba Regional Council and aims to attract thousands of competitors and spectators, contributing significantly to the region’s economy.
