The Turtle and the Lamb Trail Run takes place on Sunday, 19 October 2025 at Nodes 5 and 6, Dinden National Park, North Queensland. This popular day event offers runners the choice of three distances: a challenging 19 km course, a tough yet achievable 6 km route, and a fun 3 km dash designed for children.
Both the 19 km and 6 km courses showcase stunning natural scenery and feature iconic sections such as the climb to Turtle Rock and the exhilarating downhill known as "The Hurtle Down the Turtle." The 3 km kids' race starts simultaneously with the longer runs and encourages young runners to race back to the finish, adding an exciting competitive element for juniors.
With its diverse distances and breathtaking trail terrain, the Turtle and the Lamb Trail Run is sure to challenge and delight mountain trail runners of all ages and abilities.
