What's the difference between a social group and lessons/coaching?
A social group usually focuses on regular, informal participation and meeting people, with less individual instruction. Lessons and coaching are led by an instructor and follow a more structured approach to developing skills, technique or fitness. Some activities combine both, so check whether a listing is social, coached or a mix before joining.

How do I find the right activity for my skill level?
Start with the age and activity filters, then check the listing for terms such as beginner, social, intermediate, advanced or all abilities. Look for the expected pace, distance, rules and equipment as well as the skill label. If anything is unclear, tell the organiser about your experience and ask what a typical first session involves.

Are activities free or do they cost money?
